Life on the island

Ladislau Kovacs is 67 years old and he has been living on a small island on the river Mures, in Romania for over 20 years.  He is supplied by his sons with gasoline for the generator and boat but also with food and cigarettes. The cigarettes are never enough.
Loneliness dominates life on the island. Most often Ladislau Kovacs is having conversations with his dog Bodi who is also his only friend.
